The Lion is a Symbol of both the Tribes Judah and Dan. Legend has it that King Solomon wore a Signet Ring that conferred magic powers to Him s.t.n. He may control the Wind, Demons and Jinn and understand the language of the animal kingdom. As King He used such a ring to Set His Seal on official documents and coduct other courtly business.

In General, a seal-making device is also referred to as the seal matrix or die; the imprint it creates is the seal impression (or, more rarely, the sealing). If the impression is made purely as a relief resulting from the greater pressure where the high parts of the matrix touch, the seal is known as a dry seal. (wikipedia)

Today, setting a seal or  'sealing' has to do with protecting from public view court documents in order to guard State Secrets or in Witness Protection programs.

No One other than King Solomon has ever seen His Ring and if they had, they would not have 'lived' to tell about it (get it, they 'die' first). Some guess that it had 4 jewels, some think it was embossed with the Star of David and inscribed with the Ineffable Name(s) of God.

Some bear the Seal (stigmata as a white scar from a heat impression) since it is never appropriate to welcome such High Heads of State (Emissaries) with the Universal One Finger Salute.

Lately I've been 'hearing' "Beautiful! Beautiful!"   -- something that my friend Paul (the 'glazier') is known to say, where most people suffice to say, "Wow!", or "Oh, My God!" or simply,  "O, Gee!"

Since that can't be a comment on Her Artistic Endeavors (that's Michael's Forte), if She is sooo beautiful and You took the Time (Out) to imprint Her with Your Stamp of Approval, why is it that You Know her name(s), address(es) and phone number(s), and yet She doesn't know the first thing about You? (Aside: I know, it's because she is a blabber mouth and is likely to post your Identity on this ProScribed blog of hers that NoBody reads, once she runs your license plates for the world wide web users to see--I really wouldn't).

Unless, it isn't a stamp of approval at all and more of a 'damned Yankee' tag--which is just as likely given what She registers as Your disappointment every time You spot Her and She 'hears' You 'say,' "...and here She is--again!"

(Another Aside: Her poor Spelling and Your obscure Stamping is a sure recipe for disaster, it's a good thing the Gramma(r) is holding up).

Addendum 06_19_2012: Okay, Mr. 'It's you!'-- What exactly are You accusing me of other than failure to pull a comb through my hair and a predilection toward weird science?

Aliens, Metaphors, And Mystery

If those 'aliens' look to be invitingly familiar, I'd like to posit some reasons as to why....

36 Ya-Sin (Ya-Seen)

وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ 36:41

36:41 And (Our) Signs for them (are) that We bear their offspring ( ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ primarily means their offspring; if broken down to ذُرِّيَّ تَهُمْ can mean 'atomic charges' and a tertiary meaning is 'their accusers') in laden (charged/burdened/held back..) 'orbitting ships' الْفُلْكِ (orbits/ships/orbitting ships)

36 Ya-Sin (Ya-Seen)

وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ 36:42

36:42 and We create for them (whose 'offspring' we bear in الْفُلْكِ , see 36:41 above) similar (metaphorical) things on which they ride (ie, like ships, cars, etc.)

45 Al-Jathiya (The Kneeling)

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لَّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ 45:13

45:13 And He has made subservient (of benefit, at your disposal) to you, all that is in the heavens and on earth, altogether from Himself: in this, indeed, there are messages for people who think!

71 Nuh (Noah)

وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا 71:14

71:14 ... and how He has created you in stages?

71 Nuh (Noah)

وَاللَّهُ أَنبَتَكُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا 71:17

71:17 And God has caused you to arise (grow) out of the earth in [gradual] development (to evolve)

48 Al-Fath (Victory)

48:4 هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

48:4 He it is Who sent tranquillity( السَّكِينَةَ pronounce al-sakina; primary meaning tranquility, serenity, Nirvana; if broken down to al-sak- ina may mean 'the one who drove here' or 'the one who drove us'; if broken down to al - sikina may mean 'the knife' and given the similarity in Asian characters for 'knife' /'sword'/'strength' and 'power'...Hebrew Tav=Final/Last/End/Seal; I see now why it is best to remain vague) into the hearts of the Believers, that they may add faith to their faith; for to God belong the Forces (Soldiers) of the heavens and the earth; and God is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

Dance Of The Seven Veils

Now that I have posted the closest thing I ever got to a love letter, this post should serve as the closest I'll get to dancing.

7 Al-A'raf (The Heights)
7:46 وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌ وَعَلَى الأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلاًّ بِسِيمَاهُمْ
وَنَادَوْاْ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَ

7:46 Between them shall be a veil, and on the heights will be men who would know every one in particular (ie, by their name or by their mark): they will call out to the Companions of the Garden, 'Peace!'; they will not have entered, but they will have an assurance.

17 Al-Isra (The Concealed/Secret Journey or The Journey While Captured)(17:45) وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرآنَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسْتُورًا

17:45 When you recite the Quran, We put, between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, an invisible veil

19 Maryam (Mary)(19:17) فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا

(19:17) She screened (veiled) herself from them; then We sent her Our Angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects... (except ,based on my careful observation, he was well-spoken, didn't have any B.O. and was very polite--that's how I knew he wasn't from around here)
38 Suad ص

(38:32) فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ

(38:32) And (Solomon) He said, "Truly do I love the love of good, in remembrance of my Sustainer,"- even as (he was) hidden behind the veil

...Some time in May or June 2012 I discovered why only a Prophet like Solomon can say such a thing, once having Pierced the Veil. He had enough Wisdom and Compassion not to 'kill them all' having learned just how much Power He wielded that was shielded from Him on the Earthly Plane--quite the achievement, since I've seen how He gets when He Sees Red!


BTW when we pray "Assalumu 3lika ayuha al.naby" and seeing how We do not make a distinction or differentiate between the Prophets, the salutation address whomever happens to be the Prophet(s) present at the moment and not necessarily Muhammed pbuh every time. Did You know that?




41 Fussilat (The Criterion)
(41:5) وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِن بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ

(41:5) They say: "Our hearts are veiled from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is a deafness, and between us and you is a veil: so do (as you do); for us, we shall do (as we do)"

42 Ash-Shu'ra (The Poets)
(42:51) وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَاء حِجَابٍ
أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًا فَيُوحِيَ بِإِذْنِهِ مَا يَشَاء إِنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ

42:51 It is not fitting for a man that God should speak to him except by inspiration, or as from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger to reveal with His permission, what God wills: for He is The Highest, Most Wise.

83 Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Give Short Measure)(83:15) كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ

(83:15) Verily, from their Lord, on that Day, will they be veiled.

And that is no way a veiled threat. We've seen this type of thing before and took the trouble to make a note of it some 1400++ years ago-- by your reckoning.

Surah 48 Al-Fat.h (فتح, The Opening, Conquest, Victory, Unsealing, Unfolding)
إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِينًا (48:1

وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُم بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِن بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا (48:24 


48: 1 Truly, We Have Availed You of a Clear (Obvious) Victory

48:24 And He Is The One Who Kept their hands from You and Your hands off them in the midst (narrow, straight, gorge, umbilic, valley) of Makka, after He made You Victorious over them, and God Sees All that You do.

Alphabet Soup and Stigmata

During the first century, when Revelation is thought to have been written, stigmata were not as mysterious as they are today. Stigmata—from which the word stigma comes from, refers to leaving a mark by cutting or branding the skin. The stigmata--or mark, on the hand or forehead, were well known to the ancients as slaves, soldiers and pagan worshippers all wore stigmata. In the case of religious devotees the mark was sometimes a pagan god’s particular number; slaves were made to wear their master’s emblem; and soldiers usually bore the emperor’s name or mark on their hand.

There are several references to marks, or stigmata in both the Old and New Testament as well as the Quran and the marks are not only for apostates, but there are instances where God marks out or puts seals on both believers and non-believers, and is even said to number all of them exactly.

The Bible
Genesis 4:15
But the LORD said to him, "Not so; if anyone kills Cain, he will suffer vengeance seven times over." Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him.

Ezekiel 9:3-4
Now the glory of the God of Israel went up from above the cherubim, where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the temple. Then the LORD called to the man clothed in linen that had the writing kit at his side
and said to him, "Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it."

Revelation 7:2-3
Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:

"Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God."

He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,

so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand,

he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

[And give] unto [such of] the needy who, being wholly wrapped up in God's cause, are unable to go about the earth [in search of livelihood]. He who is unaware [of their condition] might think that they are wealthy, because they abstain [from begging]; [but] thou canst recognize them by their special mark: they do not beg of men with importunity. And whatever good you may spend [on them], verily, God knows it all.

O YOU who have attained to faith! Most certainly God will try you by means of the game which may come within the reach of your hands and your weapons, so that God might mark out those who fear Him although He is beyond the reach of human perception. And as for him who, after all this, transgresses the bounds of what is right--grievous suffering awaits him!

Al-A'raf (The Heights) 7:46
And between the two there will be a barrier. And there will be persons who were endowed with the faculty of discernment [between right and wrong], recognizing each by its mark. And they will call out unto the inmates of paradise, "Peace be upon you!"--not having entered it themselves, but longing [for it].

And they who [in life] had possessed this faculty of discernment will call out to those whom they recognize by their marks, saying: "What has your amassing [of wealth] availed you, and all the false pride of your past?

Maryam (Mary) 19:93-95
Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant:

indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [exact] numbering;
and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state.
Al-'Ankabut (The Spider) 29:3
Yea, indeed, We did test those who lived before them; and so, [too, shall be tested the people now living: and] most certainly will God mark out those who prove themselves true, and most certainly will He mark out those who are lying.

Muhammad 47:30-31

Al-Hadid (Iron) 57:25
Indeed, did We send forth Our apostles with all evidence of truth; and through them We bestowed revelation from on high, and [thus gave you] a balance [wherewith to weigh right and wrong], so that men might behave with equity; and We bestowed from on high iron, in which there is awesome power as well as benefits for man: and so that God might mark out those who would stand up for Him and His Apostle, even though He is beyond the reach of human perception. Verily, God is Powerful, Almighty!
