Today Is Monday, Frieze Groups And Fish

Frieze borders are familiar decorative relief elements in Architecture as shown in this example of the 'Flying Fish' frieze on the Marine Air Terminal at La Guardia Airport.

Frieze groups are also common in folk art and textiles such as Native Indian blankets and pottery, and they crop up in all sorts of other forms and applications including robotics, human gait modeling, DNA sequencing, and music as in the song 'Today Is Monday', most familiarly commemorated in a children's book of the same title by Eric Carle.

It has been shown that the total number of possible frieze goups in 2-dimensions is 7.

The song 'Today Is Monday' is about a food for each day of the week, so on Monday it is String Beans and for Friday it is Fish!

Fish are an important source of Omega-3 oils and while there has been cursory evidence in the past regarding Omega-3 oils' benefits to overall health, recent studies have shown them to improve memory in the population in general and offer a promising therapy for those at risk for Alzheimer's if dietary supplementation is started early enough.

I will get to vegetables later, but for this post, I'll just talk about fish. The Christ was purported to have said, 'I will make you fishers of Men', there was also a well-documented 'fishing expedition' he had gone out on; and Christians have adopted the symbol of the Fish as one of their icons. Jonah was said to have been swallowed by a Whale, but literally he had spent some time in the belly of a 'big fish'; there must be more to that for the story to make sense.

Some say fish have less than a 3-second memory; but I have a goldfish and it seems to always know when mealtime comes around and if I forget to feed it, it makes faces up against the fishbowl in order to remind me. It appears my goldfish has a better memory than me.

Fish are associated with all sorts of things including fortune, being slippery, tall tales, dinner--and Memory.

7 Al-A'Raf

7:163 Ask them about the City (town) by the Sea, if observing the Sabbath their 'fish' came to them on the Sabbath 'breaking the water' (heads above the water, in an obvious manner); and the day they did not observe the Sabbath (the fish) did not come to them, in this manner We reminded them (let them know) how they were transgressing.

Here it is, the running narrative-- if the denizens of this city by the sea did not get their 'fish' when they broke the Sabbath it probably means that they did not have any memory of those days or if the plentiful fish are an omen of good and plenty then it would follow that they had their means straightened in some other way on the days they did not observe the Sabbath.

18 Kahf (The Cave)

(I think these passages allude to Moses and a travelling companion)

18:61 Once they arrived at the junction between the two, he (the travelling companion) forgot their fish and it took its way into the Sea in a swarming (manner, rapidly?, strange/remarkable way, as if tunneling)...
18:63 he said, 'Do you remember when we arrived at the rock (boulder, outcropping)? I forgot the fish and nothing made me forget it except for Satan (some provocation, something that 'bedeviled' him). Then I remembered how it took its way (course) to the Sea, Astonishingly (Awesome, Strange, Remarkable manner)!

More running narrative--I always liked this story about the 'junction where the two meet' (2 what? rivers? people?--some juncture) and the travelling companion plays it so straight because it is so obvious that Moses was specifically looking for this place and needed to find where it was and the poor kid just got distracted. Was it by a bad memory that it took the Devil himself to let slip away--in such a vertiginous fashion? (A note of interest to the armchair geologist/geographer: Little Rock, Arkansas derives its name from a natural outcropping/stone formation 'la petite roche' or 'the little rock' that marks the juncture between the flat Mississippi Delta region and the Ouachita Mountain foothills.)
37 Saffat (Arrayed; Lined Up)

37:142 So the fish swallowed him (Jonah) the while he was wrongful (blameworthy- I think because Jonah might have given in to his anger, but if he was good enough to be God's viceroy, 'they' must have really stoked him)...
37:144 ...there he would have remained inside its (the fish's) belly until the Day of Decision (Judgment, Resurrection).

Jonah is a very sympathetic character because, I think, of all the Prophets that have ever been sent anywhere, he was the only one that the people he was sent to did not persecute him, moreover they openly accepted him and his message, and that's why they became previledged. And its okay by me if he was 'consumed by the memory' (the big fish that ate him) of whatever forced him to turn on his heels and flee (he found them to be 'qawmin fasikoon') I can empathise fully because I know it was not cowardice.
68 Qalum (The Pen; Writing Implement)

68:48 ...so await patiently your Lord's Judgment and do not be like the companion of the fish when he cried out (called out) when (while) he was repressed (consumed, gloomy, in despair)

Time and again, Scripture--when carefully read and understood properly-- tells us how it can be such a monumental struggle to be patient in adversity; surely there must be some benefit to the exercise; stiff upper lip and all that... (did You even hear me crying--a word, a whimper?) But the Memory...

Major themes; 7 Al A'Raf (consider Al Aaraaf(Edgar Allan Poe 1829) and the character Nesace 'little island' in Greek _association to 'cancer' and frieze groups); 18 Cave (Time perception); 37 Saffat (Ordering/Ranking/Arranging); 68 The Pen (Teaching, Knowledge Transfer).

2 Al Baqara (The Cow)

2:32 they said: "All Praise is Due (to God)! No knowledge have we except for what You have imparted to us. You Are The All-Knowing, The Wise."

I'd better stop right there before I become unhinged.

Doors hang on hinges which is a great segue to the subject of ‘Heavens’ Doors,’ mentioned briefly in the earlier post "Is the Sky a Hologram?" that seemed to call for a focus of its own .

Signs 7:40:11; 7:96:11; 78:19:2 (Chapter:Sign:Word Number) all mention that access or Ascension into the Sky (or Heaven) opened directly like through 'doors' or 'blessings' (the root for which 'bara' intimates that it would be as simple or merely as though one were to get to another 'floor' or opening a 'fold' or climbing a 'stair' and that this can be done via 'multiple' ways, including standing in a 'queue' or just an act of flexure (like when bending, curving, or turning a corner).

The interpretation of these Signs hinges on remembering the reason behind this excercise in the first place--it having been introduced with the first Sign to 'fall under my ax' in "Today is Monday, Frieze Groups and Fish,"
Ayah (38:29), classically interpreted to mean, 'A book Revealed to you, full of Blessings, so that those of understanding would take it to heart (reflect on it).

The premise being that the Quran will reveal only as much of itself as its present-day audience is able to manage effectively; basically the Quran as a Knowledge Object with the following core characteristics:

  1. It is self-contained – each learning object (or Sign) can be taken independently

  2. It is reusable – a single learning object may be used in multiple contexts for multiple purposes (the concept that the Message is a limitless Source of Information presented in a finite text)

  3. Can be aggregated – learning objects can be grouped into larger collections of content, including traditional course structures, and specific to the Quran, the Signs can be grouped according to different shared parameters or as whole Chapters.

That Sign 38:29 emphasizes the Verses in the Quran are to be considred or conceptualized in light of the information or Knowledge available to 'those of understanding' or 'the most learned/educated' in the community sets the maxima for what can be divulged from the Signs for any generation or audience. This way, it provides the impetus to develop higher concepts to break through any ideological limitations or stagnations that occur while protecting against any misapplication of higher level concepts that are not suitable for a society that is not primed to apply them properly--a Tool that at once Evolves with its User as well as driving that User's Evolution. {Now You know the Reason I was not too concerned with making math mistakes throughout this blog, relying on the fact that only those that know better can call me on it, to everybody else 'it's just a stack of hay!'}.

Verse 38:29 is from Chapter 38 Ṣād (a Surah named after its opening verse, the single letter ص, one of the Muqati3at or disconnected letters, which is the 18th letter in the Arabic alphabet).

Of the 29 Surahs that start off with Muqatiaat only 3 open with single letters, those being Chapters 38 (Ṣād), 50 (Qāf ), and 69 (Nūn); the rest have combinations of 2 or more such letters. And treating Sign 38:29 as a Knowledge Object led to an interpretation, without the benefit of a reliable dictionary, far removed from the traditional understanding of the Verse by using secondary or tertiary meanings of the words that still made sense in context.

The key components being that the Signs are to be Assembled (or compiled) in order to Remind or lead to the Origin of 'The Portal' or 'Door' (alternatively, the 'Kernel').

Several attempts have been made throughout A Page In The Life to do just that--some methods yielded physical structures (like the air foil in 'Building a Mystery'), others led to more esoteric concepts (like in A String, A Ring, A Modulus Thing), and some to parsing out the Signs to their elementary components (like in Sourcing or Word Problems).

This single example of how Verse 38:29 breaks down into multifaceted meanings bespeaks of the Quran's inherent Beauty. It is Complete. The fact that no matter how we scale it, it holds its value (information), makes it Perfect (self-similar)--like we find in other Natural Phenomena that are Perfect and, therefore, Infinite-- like fractals.

The trick to not getting lost in the traslation is to focus on the purpose as to why we seek information in any given Sign or Passage. For our purposes here we are looking at doors or things related to such structures (i.e., passageways, portals, access point (WAP), etc.) in general. With that in mind we take a closer look.

Sign 38:29 mentions Aluminum + Cores + Doors/Portals.

Aluminum cores are commonly used as effective heat dissipators, and aluminum core structures are found in applications that range from wires to aircraft components. Focusing on just the Metallurgy, we see that Aluminum (the most abundant metal in Earth's crust, has a relatively low density, resists corrosion, and is well tolerated by animals and plants (low toxicity, passive), it is a good thermal and electrical conductor, and is capable of being a superconductor) can be alloyed or clad with other metals; this only comes to mind since the Sign number 38:29 coincides with Element 38, Strontium (an Alkaline Earth Metal), and Element 29, Copper ( a Transition Metal).

One association that leaps out about the mention of 'pith' or 'pulp', 'paintings' and Aluminum is that Aluminium phosphate (AlPO4) is used in the manufacture of pulp and paper products, and paints. And while Aluminum/Copper alloys are common, and while Titanium can be used as an additive to reduce the grain size and refine the grain structure in Al-Cu alloys, Strontium, in trace quantities also refines the grain structure of aluminium-based alloys.

{I think I've taken this example as far as I can go. Is there a Metallurgist/Material Scientist in the House? A Biologist/Neurologist might have just as much fun with it, (ie, biology applications--considering the tie-in to Aluminum/cores/doors and ALP as in Alkaline Phosphatase and their connection to bile ducts; neurology applications--consider that 'pith' in general form/meaning is a spongy interior of a body part/inner tissue of a hair shaft or bone; a central most important part of something such as argument or discussion; or 'to kill an animal by cutting the spine,' and that in vascular plants the 'pith' is also known as the 'medulla' which according to entymology.com means, "hindmost segment of the brain," from Latin, lit. "marrow," also "pith of plants," of unknown origin, perhaps related to or influenced by medius "middle" (but cf. also O.Ir. smiur, Welsh mer "marrow"--see 'Lab' in Sign 38:29 above).}

Having considered Sign 38:29 as it pertains to 'doors' on Earth, a similar treatment of the topic is given for 'doors' in/to Heaven. (The Dual case, or what's sometimes referred to 'as above, so below', see 'At Six's and Sevens'). And the language found in Signs 7:40:11; 7:96:11; 78:19:2 (Chapter:Sign:Word Number) clearly speak of such access/Ascension or 'open doors' that lead to the Sky. (So, it may very well be that Jacob's dream of beings climbing up and down a ladder was not a dream at all, but an actual 'Point of Departure'?)...

{The story so far: Indeed for those who belied our Signs and Shunned them/Distanced themselves from them, Heavens' Doors nor Earth's will not open for them, Even if (or Until) 'yilja aljaml fi smma alkhayati' and in thus do We reward the Criminals (Miscreants).

typically 'yilja aljaml... taken to mean until such time as 'a camel passes through the needle's eye' or until 'a large twisted rope/cabel passes through the needle's eye'; but problimatic in that smma doesn't have a modern-day meaning of 'eye' and al.khayati is clearly the tailor/or one who sews and not the 'thread' itself. The word 'yilja' seams to be closely related to 'resort to' or 'league' as in 'a distance of about 5 k or 3 mi' or 'join forces/join together/ collaborate' and smma means 'name/designate/denote/toxic?' fi==in, whatever the tailor/surger (or according to the one making the modification, seems to make sense as a nautical metaphor; another variant is at such time as Telekenisis exists in that the thread/or yarn/camel follows in the style of the tailor/ or according to what the tailor/sewer says/names/designates..etc.

Area 51 Revisited

On Horticulture, Chemistry, Pharmacology, And Medicine

As mentioned in my previous post, this is the follow-up installment to Frieze Groups and Fish, about Vegetables or Plants in general:

Some say Luqman was a Prophet, others believe he was simply a Holy Man worthy of mention in the Quran (an entire Surah is named for him, so he deserves some consideration). He was known to be highly insightful, undertanding the inner workings (mystery) of things, especially plants and medicine (Ayurveda); he was thought to have lived far beyond a normal human lifespan and propounded thoughtful advice to his son.

An anonymous comment from a visitor to apageinthelife alludes to him/her being generally more than unhappy with the way things are around here, and expresses their displeasure with everything including war, politics, environment, just about all of it; and then concludes that if aliens do exist why haven't they taken him/her 'off this rock' already.

I take it they must feel rather alone/deserted/stranded and for those ETs stranded right along with him/her, the Quran can serve as a very handy Field Survival Guide. As to the reason why things appear to be moving at such a glacial pace, I reminded my visitor that if things move any faster than that, people have a habit of abusing/disusing valuable information, and that is what is at the heart of Revelation being just that, a gradual unfolding; to be understood at the proper time for the most appropriate purpose; and ultimately to 'earn your wings' and appreciate the Source that gave them to you; otherwise you'll just run amok all over the Universe(s).

18 Al-Kahf (The Cave, about Time Travel/Time Perception)

18:54 We have given detailed explanations in this Quran, for the BENEFIT of humanity; every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious (bound to use it to their detriment).

51 Surah 51 Az-Zariyat (Those That Scatter/Disburse/Disperse)

(51:55) So teach (remind) (the Message) as TEACHING (the reminding) benefits the Believers.

31 Luqman (The Prophet Luqman)

31:10 He (God) created the heavens without any pillars that you can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, so it does not shake with you; and He scattered throughout it beasts (creatures) of all kinds. And We send down rain (water) from the sky, to produce in it (on the earth) every kind of pair ( زَوْجٍ conjunction/conjugate/complement), noble ( كَرِيمٍ precious, valuable).

Given Luqman and his affinity to Medicine and Pharmacology we can apply this Sign to what else we really could be doing with cigarettes or tobacco.

The Nightshade family gives us (among other things) The Humble Eggplant and The Mighty Tobacco Plant.

Some values in Eggplant are: 4-Desmethylsterols, 4-methylsterols and triterpene alcohols (from its seeds); and 14α-methyl-5α-cholest-9(11)-en-3β-ol (from its oil). Eggplant seeds also contain nicotine since it is related to Tobacco and this may be why it can be considered as its complement.

In a similar fashion, Tobacco properties include: (S)-3-(1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinyl)pyridine (formula C10H14N2) ; alternate names 1-methyl-2-(3-pyridyl)pyrrolidine; ß-pyridyl-alpha-N-methylpyrrolidine.

I picked an example that is way out of my depth but the thinking is if one makes you sick, it stands to reason that the other one (or a close relative) was created to make you better.

Given how unique 14α-methyl-5α-cholest-9(11)-en-3β-ol is to eggplant's oil what would be its affect on other lipids? Anything special about lipids found in cancer cells?--maybe I can read about it some day to make up for all the bad news I read in a day.

Any chemist will tell you that there is a similarity between molecular structure and horticulture and that is why it's only fitting to talk about trees and branches when describing how to go about making a chemical substitution. The term 'word' here describes any substance that is being substituted onto the underlying structure (or tree).

14 Ibrahim (Abraham)

(14:24) Do you see (Can you see) how God strikes for you an example, that a good word is like a good tree with an excellent fixed origin (firmly rooted) and its subsidiaries (branches) reaching to the Sky (upward, as a plane of reference; yes! chirality--right hand rule and all that.)

There is a similar allegory about a 'bad word', and basically substituting it would make the tree structure unstable (torn up from its roots) and that's not the direction we want to go (unless the intention is to do away with such an unwanted growth).

14 Ibrahim (Abraham)

(14:26) And the similitude of a malicious word is like a bad tree, it is uprooted from the surface of the Earth, lacking stability (unable to endure).

The word خبيث  khabith, means 'malignant', and associated connotations include: 'virulent,' 'pestilent,' 'poisonous,' 'toxic,' and bad as well as meaning 'catty', 'sly,' 'evil,' and 'malicious.'

In Sign 14:26 the word is used to describe both the 'word' and the 'tree' itself as being malicious or malignant.

The inference for our purposes here, let's say designing a way to 'winkle out', 'pry' or 'remove something that is difficult to extract', or 'force it out of  its rooted position', would be to substitute the like onto it.

The description of such an extrication is given by the word 'اجْتُثَّتْ' 'ajtaththe', meaning to be 'uprooted,'-- 'rip', 'eradicate', and in a similar wise 'wipe out.'

The similitude is if a cell is genetically cancerous, to substitute the same type of 'malignant' fractal of it onto the structure or tree itself--metaphorically, a new take on 'like dissolves like'--leads to its own dissolution or destruction.

And Sign 14:26 also describes what the desired mechanism entails, that such a 'malicious tree' (see mal- malus) will no longer be 'stable'. Other connotations indicate that attaching such a 'word' onto such a 'tree' makes it 'indeterminate' or lack the ability to be 'decisive'--it will no longer have the ability to 'make the judgment or deliverance' on how to 'repeat' like in a 'chorus refrain' (by extension 'reproduce' or 'duplicate', 'double').

All of the above nuances are rooted in the phrase itself, 'ma laha min qrarin'

A String, A Ring, A Modulus Thing

I worked Moses (pbuh) into AP History just so we can transition into this peregrination (did you guess Peregrine Falcon (a relative of the Eagle; stated to be the fastest animal on the planet in its hunting dive, the Stoop... )?*

Recall Moses has a penchant for meeting colorful characters (some of whom were mentioned earlier in Today Is Monday, Frieze Groups and Fish and Man and His Prime ), but the truly most colorful character he encountered was known as Al-Khidr (whose name literally translates to The EverGreen, because he was considered to be a fount of New Knowledge that leads to Growth/Development).

In Chapter 18 The Cave, Moses travels in search of a juncture 'where the two meet' and he inadvertently bypasses it when his travelling companion forgets to relate an experience he had when his 'fish' disappeared on him. Here we pick up the string whereby hangs the tale:

قَالَ ذَلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبْغِ فَارْتَدَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِمَا قَصَصًا 18:64 note: 64 mod 18 = 10
18:64 He (Moses) said, "That was specifically (precisely) the effect that we are looking for! So they retraced their path (followed back on both their footsteps; and variably--they both cringed at the implications)
18:65 Consequently, they found Our servant (not specifically named in the narrative, but oral tradition holds that they met al-Khidr (Mr. Green)); We had Given him a Mercy from Us (Our Mercy) and Taught him Knowledge of Our Way ('the DNA') (variably, Given him Inherent Knowledge from Us; ie., it was in his DNA)
18:66 Moses said to him, "(May I) Possibly follow/accompany you to learn/know (what you know of) the Rational/Righteous/Mature Knowledge?
18:67 He (al-Khidr) answered, "You cannot be patient with me.
18:68 And how can you be patient with what you have not Landed News of (Encompass within your Ken/Understanding)?"
18:69 (Moses) Said, "You will find me, God Willing, patient and I will not disobey you in any matter."
18:70 (Khidr) Said, "Should you follow/accompany me do not ask me about anything until I reveal to you/tell you of its Truth."
18:71 So, they set off until they espyed (stayed behind) a ship (boat) and he (Khidr) breached her (scuttled it). (Moses) said, "You vandelized it! Why did you drown it? Her people (owners) had not done anything wrong (j'ita shayan amran)."
18:72 (Khidr) said, "Did I not say you cannot be patient with me?" note: 72 mod 18 = 0
18:73 (Khidr) said, "Do not shame/blame me including (having) forgot (not to question); and do not stress/urge me in intractible/(complicated or 'tangled up') warrants (decrees, affairs, matters...)." {It is not clear who is speaking, but if it is Moses, then it would read: (Moses) said, " Do not blame me for forgetting (not to question), and do not strain me in an difficult (hard to bear) matter."}
18:74 So, they set off until they found (came by) a boy (ghulman) and he (Khidr) killed him (the boy). (Moses) said, "You killed an innocent soul without it having committed evil against another soul!"
18:75 (Khidr) said, "Did I not say you cannot suffer to be patient with me?"
18:76 (Moses) said, "If I ask you about another thing, then no longer befriend me (allow me to accompany you) however much I reach for excuses (say I am sorry)."
18:77 So, they set off until they came upon a village of people whose people did not suffer to open their doors to host (welcome) them; and there was a wall about to gush (dart) and he (Khidr) set it (repaired it); (Moses) said, "Had you wished you would ask for recompense (or variably, 'you did not have to fix it, it would be their just wages (for such an unwelcoming township)')."
18:78 (Khidr) said, "This is the parting between me and you (here is where we part company); so, I shall inform you the interpretation of what you could not suffer to be patient with; the ship belonged to poor (indigent) people who worked the sea (made their living fishing/shipping).
18:79 So, I wished to damage it (hide it with a defect) since a King was after them forcibly taking every ship/boat."
18:80 And the matter of the Boy, his parents are Believers and we feared he would exhaust (kill) them both in his tyrranical disbelief.
18:81 So, we wanted their Lord to switch him for one better than him, charitable and closer to Mercy.
18:82 And the matter of the wall; it belonged to orphans living in that (inhospitable) city and beneath it was buried a treasure that belonged to them; and their father was an Honest/Good man. Consequently, your Lord Wanted that they reach their full potential and reclaim their treasure/wealth; a Mercy from your Lord. And I only performed my Warrants (carried out the Order) because they were Illuminated with Patience (with Patience Shining on it (making them clear))."

Recall that the major story that runs through Chapter 18 is about the Cave Dwellers and that the theme in Chapter 18 has to do with Time Travel. If one were to follow this line of reasoning, then it is just as valid to assume that Moses's encounter with Khidr also relates an experience having to do with Time Travel.

Several elements regarding Moses's experience in this chapter confirm this. The first is his first companion's experience with how he saw their 'fish' take to the 'sea' in an 'astonishing/tunneling' manner when they were first near the 'junction' they saught, but he was remiss in telling Moses about it. On remembering to recount what happened to Moses, they decide to 'retrace' their 'footsteps'. It is interesting that the word 'ksasn' is used which means 'story', indicating that they retraced their path as one would recount a story 'word-for-word.'

The junction ('where the two 'seas' ('rivers/bodies of water) meet') that Moses was looking for must have had a profound or vital significance since in Sign 18:60 he established he would never stop looking for it no matter how many years, even if it takes Ages. On learning this, immediately the reader is given to understand that there is more to this point of conjuction than the meeting of two bodies of water, and it may be that Moses is talking about a juncture in the 'Rivers of Time.'

That Moses was looking for a Time conduit is further supported by his reaction when his buddy describes how their 'fish' got away (swarming or tunneling in an awsome manner) and in 18:64 Moses says, 'That's precisely the effect we are looking for!' Even more remarkable, is that the secondary meaning to Moses's exclamation is that he and his travelling companion 'cringed at the implications' of what this might mean.

It is not jumping to conclusions that Moses did in fact find this juncture and that is where he met al-Khidr. And it would not be overstepping any limits to assume that Moses's experience with al-Khidr happened outside of the Timescape in which he was born. Consider;

  1. Moses met al-Khidr at a juncture with characteristic 'strange' effects.
  2. al-Khidr is not a typical 'human' since something is inherently 'different' about his DNA and he has assimilated a great deal of Knowledge that took an inordinate amount of Patience to accrue (implies accumulation beyond a normal lifetime)
  3. About half-way through their Journey al-Khidr reminds Moses that he promised not to vex him with any questions about what he was doing and that he had already forewarned him that he would not be able to bear seeing what he was doing; and Moses admits that he had indeed forgotten. (It appears there are inherent Memory problems with this type of experience, since Moses's original travel companion had also forgotten all about the juncture when they first chanced on it and did not remember to say anything about it until Moses asked some time later.)

  4. And finally, the 'smoking gun' if you will, is that al-Khidr's actions, based on 'warrants' or 'orders' from 'Us', dealt with things that he knew in advance were about to happen and he took steps to prevent a negative Final Outcome.

  5. That al-Khidr was himself travelling Back in Time is gleaned from his telling Moses at the end of their journey that he could not have done what he did had he not had Patience Shine on them (indicating he waited some time before all of these things had already played out to go 'back' and 'readdress' them). {Suggested Reading: By the way, if you like this particular story about Moses, a contemporary take on this type of experience was described to some effect in the 1996 British Television Series Neverwhere, later appearing as the novel Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.}
Above was the pragmatic (sensible) analysis. For the metaphysical evidence behind Signs 18:64 through 18:82 consider;

  1. The Actual Number of Signs from the time we pick up the tale that Moses intends to retrace his steps back to the conjunction and the time he parts company with Khidr is 19.
  2. The Number 19 and its significance throughout the Quran is addressed in Surah 74 al-Muddathhir, especially as it relates to those Questioning the Authenticity of the Quran:
  3. Surah 74 Al-Muddaththir (The Enrobed, Enshrouded, Hidden, Wrapped Up)إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا قَوْلُ الْبَشَرِ 74:25
74:25 (They say) This (Quran) is nothing but a person's saying (ie, some guy made it up)
74:26 He (whoever contests its authenticity) will become the Original to Endorse it **
74:27 And do you know what it is to Endorse it (Who Taught you its Endorsement?)
74:28 (It) will Not Keep (Remain) and Not Scatter (Not Enduring and Not Destruction/Not Living or Dying) (clearly, this refers to the Quran's Eternal quality)
74:29 An Oasis for Human Beings (reinforced here, that the subject is the Quran becoming a Vital Source (Oasis) for Human Beings)
74:30 On/Upon/In/Onto It (The Quran, is) 19 (Overseeing it is 19)
    وَمَا جَعَلْنَا أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَائِكَةً وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِيمَانًا وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْكَافِرُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَن يَشَاء وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاء وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ 74:31
    74:31 And We Made the Owners (Overseers) of the Fire (Source/Passion) none but Angels; and We Made their Appointment (Promise) but a Sedition to the Unbelievers to Ascertain those Given the Book and Increase the Believers in (Faith) Believing; and so those Given the Book and the Believers not Doubt; and those whose Hearts are Diseased and the Unfaithful (Nonbelievers) not say, 'Why does God Want, with this Example, to Mislead whom He Wills and Guide whom He Wills?' And none knows God's Forces (Soldiers) except He; and It (the Quran) is nothing but a Reminder *** for Human Beings. {This is as obvious a 'heads up' as any since in Principle, it cautions against using the Quran to Mislead or Misguide others...a shout out to the Illiterati among the madrasa crowd.}

  4. Given the above reference to 19, it would appear this magic number is used to Authenticate the Quran. Pertaining to the topic here and the 19 Signs about Moses and his encounter with al-Khidr, it would be acceptable to think something in these Signs should Prove to be quite the Revelation. {Unfortunately, I Died before I can prove it and am not making any plans to go back just to readdress this since I never had any Qualms about Who Sourced the Quran--this calls for a stiff drink, but I don't know anybody here and would not like to drink alone.}
At any rate, the words can only take us so far. It becomes necessary to investigate the Mystical Math behind Moses and Mr. Green's meanderings (path, journey). {And then there is just so much I can do with Microsoft Excel, anyOne out there handy with an Oscilloscope and Computer Aided Design can probably see this Method to fruition...it would have been nice to participate jointly but they destroyed all my credibility on my way Up, which is just as well since I got my Ride anyhow.}

Without the benefit of a Supercomputer, or any of the talents or ancillary equipment required, I am relegated to stating the obvious:
  1. (S Mod C) function yields a 0 at the 9th element; the median=the average=9 and the Unit (1) value occurs at the 10th element (Decan?); the 1st and the 19th elements equal 10.

  2. (S Mod C)/C function yields repeating single digit, non-terminating decimal values at the Odd nth signs or elements; the 0 occurs at the 9th element; the 1st and 19th elements are equal 0.55555... (Moebius Strip (see Escher's Red Ants) or Ring?).

  3. (S/C) for the 19 Sign cycle 64-82; the median and the average and the 10th element are all the same and equal 4.055555...; as expected, the 1st and 19th elements are equivalent (clockwise) since they are equal except for a Unitary gain from 3.55555....to 4.5555....

  4. The DateTime function in the Excel spreadsheet for the (S/C) values indicate an event occured on day 3 at 1:20 PM to day 4 the same hour 1:20 PM (this probably varies with the software, but is a good indicator of relative times associated with events corresponding to Signs 18:64 through 18:82). The 9th element is the Midnight Hour after the initial event (which happens to be the average and median value of the DateTime (S/C) function).

  5. Symmetry is produced when shifting the (S Mod C)/C function by 1/C (or 1/18 in this case) to move the odd nth series of repeating single-digit non-terminating decimal values back and forth (or up and down). The DateTime function yields a 0 (Zero) Day for this function regardless of the shifts; except that the negative value produced for the -1/18 shift was hand-cranked 1 hour 20 minutes (otherwise the value was indeterminate), and it may very well be that was wrong but assuming the cusp of a new year for Day 0, the event was written in as 12/31 the previous evening at 10:40 PM. It does, however, seem consistent with the agreement between the 9th and 18th element hours for the DateTime basic function and +1/18 shift (displaying the same times only 12 hours later).

  6. The average rate of growth of the Spiral (Radar Plot) to 2 decimal places is 1.33, or about 1/3 expansion (refer to Lusona lesson below).
If you patiently read through the preceding, this is where we give credit where it is due (apparently over 1400 years ago, Muhammed (pbuh) Was a computer genius ; Or-Else-What (swt)!): (ooooops! did I just Prove the Existence of God and make it Really Boring/Interesting for everybody? But if it merely turns out that I set the Course for the Unified Theory of Everything, it would only be nice to get some recognition so I don't have to work so hard in the future).

**Classical Interpretation of 74:26 is, "He will Fling him into Hell" but I don't see how the word s.aslyhu which has a root meaning Origin or Original has anything to do with Flinging or Casting something...and the word sqr may mean Hell, but I haven't come across it that way and think it alludes to a specific type of Flame, like a blue-flame or something extremely hot...maybe even a plasma...but that's just a guess. Resolving Forces
From F= ma, where mass is constant
F=m dvf/dt

where Vf =

and to get the effective force in each dimension, the velocity must be resolved accordingly in each domain and summed to the final projected space where the force is enacted.
