The Misses and Why He Metaphor

Finally, after about 16 years of 'wife' allusions, I think I get the metaphor; It's because she 'misses.'

This post pertains mostly to why I myself don't actually perform materially the things talked about in A Page In The Life blog, and am merely relegated to being an armchair scientist--after all, everything can be made to look very good on paper, the proof is in the doing.

The short answer is that I wasn't the person meant to benefit from the real-world advantage of having done or discovered any of the multitude of things Revealed in the Quran, or any other Scripture when it is understood properly.

Otherwise, in my life I would have found myself in the right jobs, the right places, the right support, all the elements that go into making things 'Right,' but I didn't.

My part having been reduced to simply teaching or de-coding the Quran, so that those it was meant to serve may find themselves in more provident circumstances.


Surah 39 Zumar
اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ
كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ
تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ
 جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ
ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ
 ذَلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ
يَهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاء
 وَمَن يُضْلِلْ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ (39:23

39:23)  God Promulgates/Teaches the Finest Metaphors
A Scripture of Similitudes (Consistent...) in Manifold terms (enfolded, multifaceted)
It makes shiver the skins
of those who are in awe of their Lord
Causing their skins (beings) and their hearts to incline toward God's Remembrance.
This is the Manner in Which God Gives Guidance;
He Guides with it Whom He Wills (to be guided) and,
whomever God let's go astray, what other guide have they?

Before my friend Francis gets on his 'pity' platform for me, I want to make it clear that the onset and the development of this blog did serve me in ways that are immeasurable.

It helped me refresh what was left of my brain after one very unfortunate environmental 'accident.' And the most noticeable problem was having lost my fluidity in speaking (forced speech, wrong words, failure to even find the right words...)

I got clued in by 'being told' to start by breaking down my own father's name Ibraheem=Ibra.him== 'to free them', 'their freedom'...(I won't take credit for that brainstorm, my Late Father may have more to say about it).

Surah 14 Ibrahim
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ
لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ
فَيُضِلُّ اللّهُ مَن يَشَاء
 وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاء
وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ (14:4

14:4 And We Never Send a Messenger Except Speaking His Community's Language
To Clarify for them.
(With it) God Misleads whomever He Wills,
and Guides whomever He Wills,
and He Is the Most Powerful, the Wisest (to Rule, Render Judgment...)

My take on it is that the Human Brain really is just about the most perfect Relational Database ever engineered, and this exercise helped me to re-establish most of my own lost functionality. Still not 'normal' but 'highly functional'; to the average person on the street, they could never guess I ever had a problem.

Throughout the Quran there is an embedded reference to 'relational databases' in the context that the messages themselves are multifaceted, or of a manifold nature, in that they have an outward implicit meaning, and then enfolded within each Sign is more explicit information. This is why there is a strong emphasis on the interpretation of metaphors, or allegories in order to derive the hidden (occult) information veiled within the mystery--the Quran, a Mystical text, as a Practical Tool; here used for Science and Math, but the methods applied here can be readily extended to other fields.  The caveat emptor is to never interpret them in such a manner as to let selfish interests or sedition rule.

Surah 12 Yusuf
وَكَذَلِكَ يَجْتَبِيكَ رَبُّكَ وَيُعَلِّمُكَ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الأَحَادِيثِ
وَيُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى آلِ يَعْقُوبَ
كَمَا أَتَمَّهَا عَلَى أَبَوَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَقَ
 إِنَّ رَبَّكَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ (12:6

12:6) (God Said to Joseph) "In this manner Your Sustainer Elects You, and Will Teach You the Inner Meaning of  Metaphors (Dreams, Events, Stories...), and Will Complete His Blessings upon You and upon the House of Jacob;
As He Bestowed it upon Your forefathers before, Abraham and Isaac.
Truly, Your Lord is Omniscient, Judicious!"

12:21
وَقَالَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِن مِّصْرَ لاِمْرَأَتِهِ
أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا
وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّنِّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الأَرْضِ
 وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الأَحَادِيثِ
وَاللّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ
وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ (12:21

12:21...And in this manner we Established Joseph throughout the Earth
And Taught Him the Interpretation (Inner Meaning) of Metaphors (Stories, Dreams...)
And God Champions His Will (Manifests His Will)
Yet, most People are Unaware.

Surah 16 Bees
وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ
إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُ بَشَرٌ لِّسَانُ الَّذِي يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِيٌّ
 وَهَـذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ (16:103

16:103) And We Know that they say (accusatively),
"It is only a Man who teaches it to Him," and the language of the One they wickedly point to is foreign (non-Arabic speaking),
and This (Revelation) is obviously in the Arabic tongue, Clearly Revealed (elucidated here in English).

Having understood certain aspects of the Message, the intention is for it to be renewed or propagated anew throughout the Human Experience (not only because it was Abraham's wish that it be so, and not because everyone has to be a 'mohslimb'--which sounds to me like a 'banana plant branch') so that those not familiar with the scope of the information contained within it or those hearing it for the first time may benefit from it.

And, for the rest of us armchair warriors, the remembrance of it helps our brains on a physical level to keep senility at bay, by the simple act of having to recall a factoid or two, or too many.


Surah 51 Zariyat
وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (51:55

51:55 ...and Remind (of it), indeed the Remembrance (of Quran) Benefits the Believers (Faithful)...


Surah 80 3'abassa
أَوْ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ الذِّكْرَى (80:4

80:4) ..or Remind him of it (Scripture) that he may have benefitted from its remembrance...


Surah 87 A.A3'la
سَنُقْرِؤُكَ فَلَا تَنسَى (87:6

87:6) We Teach You (Make You Recite It) so You do not forget...

Of a certainty, a proven method to hedge against forgetfulness, should you ever need to 'follow that fish.'

All that, and it helps keep my mind off why my son's Texts reach me while his Phone calls don't even register in my phone log--What? I gotta know telephony from A-Z, too?
