Ahh 2B A Stah

I was trying not to post anything new in 2012 and simply spend the rest of my time completing earlier posts; some of which were set aside while new ones were started, some of which had work lost mid sentence and the material could not be readily recalled for completion.

But here are a few thoughts on what others (them) think.

Let me preface what follows by saying that I am not in the best frame of mind--hard day having to digest the confirmation that I am step-mother to my own children; my grandchildren are afraid to so much as look at me--God only knows what they are being told about me; my hair is falling out in clumps from spending too much time at 0G and not due to my jumping for joy, but being hopping mad; I still hear random individuals take the liberty of pronouncing my name to whomever/whatever Unknown is on the other side of the phone (Skype)line when I pop into my neighborhood Starbucks (I had avoided going there for several weeks and then when I ventured in again that Mr Oh!G still could be overheard doing the same); then to have that one individual actually wake me from my sleep by calling me from within my private room.


Look, if I so much as suspect that voice as coming from a man or woman I've come across I have no reason to trust them, because, well because this and still no reasonable explanation (so whoever knows this much about me is by default automatically implicated in the crime and that's why no signal from outerspace, see I can ignore them just like they did me and then some, because I can do it on multiple levels)!

I find myself still making excuses for noises and pressure changes in my car, trying to rationalize what's weird, and the flashes I see while driving or going about my daily so-called life are not because they are shooting my picture but whatever it is I know Who to thank for what I've been calling migraines.

So this post is all about apertures. Openings, or 3ayns, like our eyes where light enters, and anuses where skutt leaves, and why never the two 3'ayn shall meet.

Overheard at, where else but the salone of the 21st century, coffee shop a man was explaining to someone how it is the very nature of the human brain to be the center of its universe-- to make everything in the world about that individual and why everyone, no matter who they are, or what they say, all want to be a Star! Not a Planet, or Blackhole, or some other Space Debris, but a Star--and not as a destination-- no wonder we are all still stuck here on (multiple) Earth.

Spoken like someone who only knows everyone in Los Angeles. And this man's sweeping assessment of everyone's basic nature and true character is nothing more than the projection of probably his own aspirations onto everyone else.

After all if he wants it, then surely doesn't everybody else?

Are they any better than what he thinks?

Can they possibly be any different?

What? Why? Are they aliens?

Well, unlike him, I can't speak for everyone else. But some of us, me, a handful of friends, family, and acquaintences don't seem to want that. Some of us do-- the ones born and raised in LA, but on the whole we don't spend time even thinking about it. Not that we can't appreciate a Star when we see one. I enjoy a reason to dress up and see a show as much as anyone, but that  doesn't mean I want to be in every production!

My Mother, for example, all she is ever on about (when she catches sight of me, anyway) is 'Land! Land!' and I'm like 'What on Earth is Her preoccupation with Land?'

True, its rising up out of the Water is fascinating, but that trick got old after the first time.

Speaking for myself, its not so much what I want as much as what I don't or didn't ever want--any problems. Because then I would be forced to have to sit down and try to solve them and that leads to just one math mistake after another (and then HE wipes out the final touches to my antenna).

And for the gentleman who thought he was channeling my Father on his way out the shop by telling me to "Study!" That's like the last thing my Father would ever adjure me to do, in fact He once emphatically told me I do too much reading and studying and to make His point stick, He literally threw the book at me (it was Calculus).

Where's The Disconnect?

It appears, "what we've got here is a failure to communicate."--spoken by the character Luke (Paul Newman)in the movie Cool Hand Luke, 1967.

The reason this well-laid plan backfired is because while all the other girls fall over themselves when they see exactly what it is I am looking at and get all trippy for a love story, my particular lexicon makes the same message they are receiving sound like a joke!

Take for example when the women sat around discussing His rather novel 'arrival' in '96 (or was it '97?)

They went gaga over it and went on about the incident like it were the hottest romance novel at the local bookclub meeting.

I got the distinct impression that He 'landed' in the backyard and about the only penetration that took place was His passing through my closed French Doors on His way out, stopping briefly to make sure I am aware of His presence and to intimate, 'Don't touch my face'. ('don't touch my face...don't look at my hands...' makes me wonder is there any part of Him not off limits to me?)

And on the way out He manages to get every appliance and electronic gadget to act up.

The Romantics at the round table discussion get all sad about it, saying things like, 'She thinks He left her...' (Well--yeah, but He finds other means of engagement, check out the expression on the Lost Bunny of the Apocalypse's face; just too precious).

And more cooing from the peanut gallery, "She doesn't know Who He is?" "They don't recognize each other!"

Their hearts are in the right place, those sentimental dears, doesn't everybody get to buy into the fairytale pap ever since they r knee hi to a grasshopper?

That's why the ruse generally works, well it did in every case until now.

The failure due in large part to Miss Interpretation (that would be me, not perfect enuf to get Translated like the rest of ewes, so I have to sit here and Interpret for myself).

Take for example if our protagonist were to say something like, "Me déshabiller!"




All the love struck bunnies would swoon--seeing the perils He withstood to get to Her; or, if shallow like me, at just what a hottie He Is!



But what they understand to mean, "Undress me!" she takes to mean, "I Am This Idiot! ( me dis (a Brooklyn 'this') habeel هبيلc!")



And when she dashes off a message to apprise Him of this Revelation, (if not to Him directly, then to SomeOne she knows will forward it), He writes back, "Don't yell at Me!"
To which she blithely responds (without sending), "WHO INVENTED CAPS LOCK?!!!"
And He volleys with, "...little girls should not use so many exclamation marks!"

Which leaves her speechless and with nothing left To_Do but k-p duty and start peeling onions from Chicago vis-a-vis Calcutta_Kingston (link) in response to His final dig search phrase "you're not supposed to do that" (Dec 6, 2011) so she can get a handle on what exactly she was not supposed to do, while contemplating what page(s) He lands on when He searches "quotes about being let down" because Google Analytics takes more than 8 hours to compile that information?

How's this for a been-let-down quote, and u can quote me, "Krift hayati wa izmikt hayat ad.dunya."
Strangely enough, i still find it easy to remain upbeat, not because i am hopeful things can get better, but in knowing no matter what comes next i've lived through worse.

The standard word for Glass (zujajatin) زُجَاجَةٍ appears in the Quran Chapter 24 and is discussed in an earlier post The Chair and The Lamp

Surah 27 Al.Naml Ants
قِيلَ لَهَا ادْخُلِي الصَّرْحَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهُ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ 27:44 

Contextual Interpretation
27:44 He (Solomon) said to Her (She'ba), "Enter the Castle/Tower!" Yet when She saw it, She deemed it 'a deep watery expanse' and She bared Her legs (so as to wade into/across it). He said, "It is a Caste/Tower made of (paved with) glass." She said, "O, My God! Indeed I have 'wronged myself,' and She surrendered (became a Muslim) as Solomon had to God, the Sustainer of All the Worlds.


Inni Atthlumtu nafsi     إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي   is typically understood to mean that She'ba had sinned against herself, which may or may not be the essential meaning of the phrase and I kind o' know how this could be misconstrued.

Based on first hand experience, whenever 'He' comes out of 'nowhere' and tries to show someone an 'alternate route' so they don't get stuck in traffic, 'He' doesn't exactly announce 'Himself' by 'Name.'  What I actually 'heard' Him Project was 'It's Me!' And I quickly got out of the way and allowed Him to Pass me (see, me with a lower case m, not Me!, like that.)

So, if She'ba had a similar encounter, She had no other way to refer to Him other than 'Me', which anyone not having had the experience would mistake Her for referring to Herself when in fact She had no other way to talk about Him other than that He Referred to Himself in the First Person Object Pronoun 'Me' when She'ba 'heard' Him, too.

And She'ba, having attracted Solomon on a level where She scored an invitation to His digs, probably was not a woman prone to 'tthulm'  ظَلَمْ ,as in sinning or wronging Herself or others, (else He would have met Her on the Battlefield), but that She probably Had 'passed' or 'eclipsed' or 'shadowed' Him (Who?, Why, Me, of course!). How's that for Hilarity? (Note to Solomon,; don't worry Your handsome self about it, I am not asking for an invitation to Your House, since I know you are Married to Her, and I don't want to invite such bad karma as putting designs on some other woman's man--it's like I been telling every One all along, Yous got the wrong girl!)

But for the pragmatic, pedantic, application to electronics and antennas, say, We go with this one--

27:44 So, He (Solomon) said to Her (The Queen of Sheba), "Enter/(Log In)/State/Bring Down/Cut Open/Profess/Say/Affirm 'True of False' the Palace/Tower/Edifice/Story," and upon seeing it She thought/deemed/calculated/estimated/cast==threw across/cipher==put into code/computed (it) a pool of water, (an) Abyss/free space/indefinite expanse/immeasurable deep, fathomless cavity or expanse and She uncovered/revealed/showed her legs/trunk/crus/drive(s)/var. reddish-brown clay; He said/declared, "(It's an) Edifice/Palace/Tower/Story Paved/Satellite?/Tiled/Covered/Surfaced/Protected (aisle/pathway/lane supported (Disciple) from/of Glass/Bottles/Warrior Forces===Competing Forces/Fighting Forces." She said, "My God (Sustainer/Supporter/Creator)! I've been wronging/lost/shadowing/shading/umbraged/ghosting/lie-ing to myself and I surrender/believe, as with Solomon , God (Allah) Is The Sustainer/Creator/Supporter (of) The Worlds!"

According to 27:44, Sheba plays it straight and immediately Repents when She figures out that She'd made a mistake believing what She sees as a bottomless pit or a pool of water is nothing more than the shiny glass tile floor of Solomon's Palace. Because She had not seen anything like it in Her worldly experience she interpreted something unknown to Her, in this case the glass floor, as something She could understand, a pool of water--and immediately understood that Her limited Worldly experience kept Her from understanding the Greater Reality (The Unknown).

This anecdote would lead Any one of us to empathize with Her, not because She was a 'sinner', but because it is a Human frailty that we cannot immediately grasp the meaning of a new concept (an experience alien to our Life's experience) without some familiar point of reference, which may lead us to draw a wrong conclusion. For Sheba, her misinterpretation made her bare her legs to wade into what she thought was the water, for Me it means making one math (physics, spelling) mystake after another! (Besides, Solomon made it really easy for Sheba by offering an explanation on the spot AND making Himself available to witness Her surrender (Islam), unlike my case, where after a 19 year Hazing, the 'twin paradox' I run into denies it so to Whom should I surrender? Given the further razzing that someone surfs into this site with the search phrases, 'surrender fuzzy one,' and 'furj tired,'  and the winniningest one , 'I'm too cute too be obtuse'; besides, I'm a Muslim in the first place, is there such a thing as a double surrender? In that case, make mine a Double! Where do I go with that information, the nearest police station?)

At any rate, the basic understanding is that Sheba miscalculated the 'free space', that it was either boundless and/or had some other property having to do with or exclusive of 'reddish brown' clay, which leads me to thinking it having to do with diatomaceous earth??; (applications in nanotech, vacuum insulation, thermal barrier, can be selected or synthesized for color (distance between planes of regular packed spheres approx. 1/2 wavelength of the visible light...//waveguides) 

Unlike Her, I show no sign of Repentence, because I know this is what passes for Comic Relief around these here parts. And will add to my embarrassment by flagrantly conceptualizing 'Solomon's Palace,' given my keen inaccessible insight into the Unknown, relying heavily on the premise that it should work on some level (As Above, So Below!).

Okay, I lied, and I'm not building Solomon's Palace, for one thing who needs that much housework--I'm going for the Tower! (He Says, "And for another, what's the use when She picks up the land under it and slings it across the room like Sunday night's hash from Mel's Diner."--so, I take it that was not Holy Water they sprinkled me with for that little creative bent?)

Key Design Parameters:
c= the full length of the 'ladder' which forms the side of the conic (the generators);
(it's fun when my readers offer to help, One surfs in with the search phrase, 'a man climbing the stairs is doing work against gravity,'  as when a Painter climbs a ladder, yet He Insists He is Not a Painter, but a ;Producer! And I say, 'So, You're the One that Produced this mess?' The while thinking, 'I am so tired of this walk-through as every Jim Carey movie character--that's what happens when the ;Producer refuses to listen to the Writer--ideas get stale fast!')
h= the height from the top of the 'tower' to the base of the cone
a= the vertex angle, or the angle of incline of the ladder/lattice to the vertical (approximately 15º)
r= is the..., (about one-fourth the ladder height, c ; ie, minimum r ==(1/4)c)
-Each step/rung of the ladder forms equally-spaced, even geodesics around the conic surface
-The ladder/lattice rails form (Lie along) the conic generator(s)-Depending on which portion of the electromagnetic spectrum is being propagated, the cone may either be a solid surface(conductive or dielectric) or open structure (free space) surrounding a tube or solid core (conductive of dielectric). If the latter, the clearance between the back of the ladder/lattice and anything behind it is at least...
-The top of the ladder/lattice structure must overextend the top rung/geodesic/conic 'landing' by...
The allusion to the 'Tower' being an Ediface of 'Bottle/Glass' seems to indicate that the dielectric (threshold/doorway) is borosilicate glass or the type of glass typically used in making bottles (Schott glass) or maybe drinking cups (soda-lime glass), vs. silica (like  fuzed quartz that's used in fiberoptics; counterintuitive, but that's what this says.)

The further allusion to being 'Competing Forces' indicates that relationship between the signals? similar to when 2 or more actuators provide conflicting inputs to a mechanism, that Sheba 'bared' her legs in order to 'step in' or 'enter' reinforces the imagery in that Human legs are another example of 'competing actuators'. Actuators is broadly described as any type of controller or system that converts one type of energy into motion, serving as the mechanism by which an artificial intelligence or autonomous being (ie, Human) acts upon its environment. 

That Solomon's Tower, described in Sign 27:44 as a  signal tower/ediface/satellite? is some type of antenna is further inferred from the language pertaining to 'competing forces,' typically associated with actuators (an antenna being a special case of an actuator that converts Radio Waves into Electric Energy (EMF) and vice versa).

وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِآنِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا 76:15
قَوَارِيرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًا 76:16


The word قَوَارِير kwareer is understood to mean glass/cups/crystal in another 3 verses. In 27:44, Solomon describes the floor of His palace as being صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ , where the word qwareer قَوَارِيرَ is used to describe the surface and generally interpreted as 'glass.' In 76:15 denizens of Paradise are given cups قَوَارِيرَ made of glass or crystal, أَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا and in 76:16 the cups or crystal are described further as being made of Silver قَوَارِيرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ which the recipients themselves determine or establish the measure/value of (typically assumed to be set by their own good deeds).

{Added to this Post on 29.10.2011: Men strutting about in boys' bodies, being loud and boystrous for no apparent reason at Starbucks tonight, they took note of the coffeeshop's location/business card, had a camera and were taking pictures; the first group of 5 came together and represented different ethnicities (African American, Asian, and 3 others (may have been various Caucasian/Semetic/whatever else is other). Once they left, 2 more came in, the one dressed for an early Holloween (maybe a poor version of Robin Hood) was about 5' 3" tall, well-groomed hair, caucasian and seemed excitable, a loudmouth; the other was an exotic mix, maybe Hispanic/Asian, dressed casually and much quieter, also not very tall, maybe about 5'7".
















As an Aside, apparently discussing Physics/Scripture with the Void (like we do here) qualifies as some sort of Proselytism, as evidendced by some woman seated nearby that made deliberate eye contact with me and giggled as much in her phone conversation with someone.

What to think of all this: If these shysters want to grab my attention they should do something more constructive than to scramble the preset radio stations in my vehicle--it is in dire need of a good detailing, why not do something helpful like that!}


And in all fairness I Am, once again, to give fair warning. My invisible 'Friend', the One euphemistically referred to as 'Husband' (ie., One Who Keeps An Eye on The House, Affords me some measure of Protection) is not a childhood pretend playmate that I have failed to outgrow or my 'Higher Self', but what some of you call 'God'.

I only say 'Husband' not because we are married or that I am anyone's Wife, not by any stretch of the imagination, but because I have been known to throw a tizzy-fit in 'His' Presence and 'God' puts up with it for no apparent reason other than that my patience approaches that of the Saints'. And while it would be ideal and lovely (and kindo' boring) for all of us to have those qualities, our individuality dictates that we each bring our unique approach to problem-solving; mine happens to be a very long fuse of varying indeterminate lengths leading to an explosive temper (off-the-chart-multiple-Supernova-temper) at the end of my protracted prim peaceful patience. Thankfully, since this condition has been imposed on me and I was not born this way, a reasonable accommodation is provided for this legal disqualifier (debility, medical condition, encumberance, ...whathaveyou):

I Love You, Mad-E


Hear Now, The News...When I said I Love You, I Meant Forever, but I know You had other things to do that day.

So, in all defference to Your priorities, I found ways to keep myself busy, until You stopped acting like you just fell off Your horse with that bit of unsolicited information.

But, like Chapter 86 Verse 11, everything comes back around.

If You see me trying to make a new friend, it doesn't mean that You are being supplanted.

Despite appearances to the contrary, I do prefer the sweet hitchhiker who ages 20 years in an hour and goes around town pretending to play the part of the 'loser' who still lives with His 'parents,' and acts like a curmudgeon that wants nothing to do with me when I try to 'break the ice' and word gets back to me that I'm not supposed to do things like that---to 'tell' Him what I had for breakfast (yes, I liked Kurt Vonnegut, too) that morning or 'speak' to Him in public.

Ever the one with questionable taste in Men, I gravitate toward the One (see above) who rudely puts his lug-soled hiking boots up on the coffee table making sure they are oriented right at my face, for me to get a good whiff of His recently stepping through horse country; while He plays the part of the transient, who happens to afford good leather boots and high-tech accouterement (the very definition of ___________(fill in the blank with the classified title).

And if You find me saying things here based on things You don't (can't) see, it doesn't make me delusional, it just makes you blind.

Trees, branches, fractals are some examples of dendrites and 2 key parameters characteristic of dendritic growth are the tip radius and tip velocity.

Physicists Renate Loll and Dejan Stojkovic are working independently to discern the geometry of the 'early universe' and answer the question 'Did the early universe have just one spatial dimension?'

Studies suggest that the early universe — which expanded from a single point and was very, very small at first — was one-dimensional (like a straight line--here we go again with the linear thinking) before expanding to include two dimensions (2D, like a plane) and then three (like the world in which we live today).{Really, 3- and not 4-D is the world in which we live today?--That would mean my goose is cooked in No Time At All!} 

The theory of evolving dimensions presents a paradigm shift from the way we previously thought the cosmos came to BE.

The core idea is that the dimensionality of space depends on the size of the space we’re observing, with smaller spaces associated with fewer dimensions.

That means that a fourth dimension will open up (unfold)— if it hasn’t already — as the universe continues to expand. The theory also suggests that space has fewer dimensions at very high energies of the kind associated with the early, post-big bang universe.

According to Stojkovic, “What we’re proposing here is a shift in paradigm,...Physicists have struggled with the same problems for 10, 20, 30 years, and straight-forward extensions of the existing ideas are unlikely to solve them...We have to take into account the possibility that something is systematically wrong with our ideas,” he continued. “We need something radical and new, and this is something radical and new.”


Loll works on developing a theory of quantum gravity, reconciling the beautiful geometric description of space and time laid out in Einstein's theory of General Relativity with the insight that all of physics at its most fundamental level must be described by quantum laws of motion.

She is one of the pioneers of a new approach to the nonperturbative quantization of gravity, that of Causal Dynamical Triangulations which recently has produced a number of remarkable results. These include a dynamical derivation of the fact that space-time is four-dimensional (something that can be taken for granted only in classical gravity) and that it has the shape of a de Sitter Universe (like our own universe in the absence of matter), and of the so-called wave function of the universe which plays an important role in understanding the quantum behaviour of the very early universe.

Remarkably, the dimensionality of spacetime reduces smoothly to two (2-D) at short distances, indicative of a highly nonclassical behaviour of spacetime geometry near the Planck scale. These results are obtained by superposing elementary quantum excitations of geometry which have a notion of causality ("cause preceding effect") built into them at the very smallest scale.

Interesting in that it is very similar to results from Computer-generated superpositions of causal geometries that show the emergence of an extended quantum groundstate;
 the geometric properties of which provide strong evidence that quantum spacetime indeed behaves macroscopically like a four-dimensional universe.

According to Loll it reveals a fractal structure on slices of constant time, and I posit that due to the 'Law of Similars' (ie, 'as above, so below'), Time itself is more than likely fractal in nature, like other natural phenomena and probably displays the same fractal dimensions as Rivers (see reference to Rivers of Time in 'Is the Sky a Hologram', elsewhere reference to 'tuples', quaternions/octads/octals).

Since all local curvature degrees of freedom of the geometry undergo large quantum fluctuations, a four-dimensional geometry can either crumple up to generate a geometry of an effectively higher dimension (like crumpling up a two-dimensional sheet of paper into a three-dimensional ball), or curl up to give a geometry of an effectively lower dimension (like rolling up a piece of paper into a thin tube, which will appear effectively one-dimensional at a scale much larger than the circumference of the tube). This is exactly what happens in nonperturbative Euclidean quantum gravity. It produces ground states of geometry that are either maximally crumpled with an infinite(!) effective dimension  or polymerized into thin and branched threads, with an effective dimension of two, neither of them promising candidates for the ultimate vacuum.

The main technical tool for constructing a causal nonperturbative path integral is the method of Causal Dynamical Triangulations, a Lorentzian version of dynamical triangulations , in which the new fundamental principle of microcausality is implemented by taking superpositions of only those geometries which have a well-defined causal structure down to the very smallest scales.

And the exciting news is that this idea seems to work!

Computer-generated superpositions of causal geometries show the emergence of an extended quantum ground state.

Recent work which analyzes some of its geometric properties provides strong evidence that this quantum spacetime indeed behaves macroscopically like a four-dimensional universe.

These very encouraging findings imply that an essential aspect of the classical limit, the dimension of spacetime, emerges correctly, a consistency check other approaches to nonperturbative quantum gravity have yet to pass.

This nontrivial result makes the model of causal dynamical triangulations a prime candidate for a theory of quantum gravity, although much work remains to be done to prove that it indeed is the correct theory.

Further research is under way to determine other classical and semiclassical properties of the "reconstructed universe", as well as its true quantum structure.

Dendrite growth is imprinted in the Mechanistic world from the 'spin foam' to 'the universe' (i.e, the quantum level to the cosmic scale). (That covers the maxima and minima for The As Above ..So, Too, Below.)

For the medial, or Anthropic applications, there have been several studies to parametrically define and analyze dendritic growth in living cells to determine branching rules, morphological identifiers and the shape of their dendrite spanning fields for anything from fly eye neurons (i.e, lobula plate tangential cells or LPTCs, motion sensitive neurons) and cerebellar Purkinje cells.

A brief review of the literature turned up one article which mentions that some early approaches to describing and reconstructing dendrite branching in general for LPTCs had failed to take into account a major functional constraint governing dendrites: their need to reach specific input locations.

"More recent attempts to constructing dendrite morphology in relation to their function and the location of their inputs had led to dendrite structures of low complexity and accuracy in spite of high computational costs. However, circuitry and connectivity as well as simple wire packing issues are known to be determinants of dendrite morphology.

In addition, the specific organization and architecture of many parts of the brain helps to reduce wiring costs for the (brain/neural network) circuitry. It is therefore not surprising that such constraints can be used to describe dendrite branching in LPTCs and other cells.

Other planar space-filling cells, the cerebellar Purkinje cells, certainly follow a similar rule. However, the suggested approach is not restricted to planar dendrites and future analysis will cover all different neuron arborizations to clarify the ubiquity of the suggested branching rule. At the example of LPTCs, the usefulness of the approach presented here can be put forward: LPTC electrophysiology was studied in great depth (e.g. and precise models, so-called compartmental models, including the detailed anatomical structure were designed and are continuously being improved).

Understanding LPTC branching, these constraints can be directly put in relation with the optic flow processing occurring within their circuitry.

Assuming generality of principles, even the function of cells, which have not yet been reconstructed, can be inferred based on the contours of their dendrites alone. Moreover, the fly is the model animal in which the molecular components that determine neural growth are currently being unveiled, mainly through genetic tools.

Our framework therefore allows a quantitative study of the impact of gene modifications far beyond basic statistics.

In particular, molecular principles guiding neuronal self-avoidance during development and others can now be put in relation with the branching constraints presented here. Eventually, studying molecular factors shaping dendritic spanning fields separately from a specific branching rule within should elucidate a fundamental organizational element in the brain, i.e. the neuron's branching structure.

Applying this vast body of information from the very large to the very small probably leads to inroads when similar dendrite growth/concepts are applied to developing, say, a monopole magnet?

[Monopole magnets may not exist, but bipolar magnets may be produced/constructed based on the shape of the magnetic field and modeling it such that the 'net effect' is a monopole magnet--much like a monopole antenna is essentially still a dipole antenna, but its net effect is to radiate in only 1/2 the space.]

An analogous case, if one were to model such an 'alien magnet,' would  be a monopole antenna with a perfectly conducting, infinite ground plane  which is identical to the top half of a dipole pattern, with its maximum radiation in the horizontal direction, perpendicular to the antenna.

The 1/4-wave monopole antenna is a single element antenna fed at one end, that behaves as a dipole antenna. It is formed by a conductor in length. It is fed in the lower end, which is near a conductive surface which works as a reflector (see Effect of ground).

The current in the reflected image has the same direction and phase as the current in the real antenna.

The quarter-wave conductor and its image together form a half-wave dipole that radiates only in the upper half of space.

In this upper side of space the emitted field has the same amplitude of the field radiated by a half-wave dipole fed with the same current.

Therefore, the total emitted power is one-half the emitted power of a half-wave dipole fed with the same current.

As the current is the same, the radiation resistance (real part of series impedance) will be one-half of the series impedance of a half-wave dipole.

As the reactive part is also divided by 2, the impedance of a quarter wave antenna is ohms (most likely purely capacitive reactance).

Since the above-ground fields are the same as for the dipole, but only half the power is applied, the gain is twice (3dB over) that for a half-wave dipole ( ), that is 5.14 dBi.

The earth can be used as ground plane, but it is a poor conductor: the reflected antenna image is only clear at glancing angles (far from the antenna).

At these glancing angles, electromagnetic fields and radiation patterns are thus the same as for a half-wave dipole.  Impedance of the earth is far inferior to that of a good conductor ground plane -- this can be improved (at cost) by laying a copper mesh.

Because it radiates only into the space above the ground plane, or half the space
of a dipole antenna, a monopole antenna will have a gain of twice (3 dBi over) the gain of a
similar dipole antenna, and a radiation resistance half that of a dipole.

Thus a quarter-wave monopole antenna, the most common type, will have a gain of 5.19 dBi and a radiation resistance ofabout 36.8 ohms if it is mounted above a good ground plane.
Commercially manufactured ladder line or "window line" (for this metaphor see Talk Like An Egyptian, above) is a type of transmission line similar to twin-lead for balanced connection of antennas.

Ladder line is constructed as a pair of evenly spaced wires with supportive plastic webbing holding the wires apart. The plastic webbing has windows cut in it to reduce its dielectric effect and reduce loss in the transmission line. The alternating webbing and windows gives ladder line its characteristic look and name.

Conceivably, due to similaries in dendrite growth/shape of electric and magnetic fields, and their physical properties already clearly understood through related parameters from the coupling factor (fine structure constant α) to Maxwell's equations (which unify electricity, light, and magnetic radiation), monopolar magnets may be engineered by properly ~weaving~ the magnetic domains to produce a net effect of monopolar mangnetism--an analog (dual/complement) to how monopole antennas radiate radio signals or akin to how metamaterials 'appear' to violate Snell's Law for light.

There are several concepts worth developing when plumbing for the exact nature of the Sky as described in the first 19 references to it in the Quran. In 2:19 we get storms from the Sky--metaphorically, the Sky is a source of stormclouds which represent a steady, plentiful outpouring of gloominess, tyranny, and injustice.

In 2:22 the Sky is described as a 'canopy' but the precise meaning of the word bina' is associated with construction, building, masonary, and the masons themselves. That rainwater or simply water (Ma') descends from the Sky is mentioned, the concept of Ma having been developed elsewhere in Apageinthelife, including but not limited to 'negative space' and physical parameters such as mass*acceleration.


{It is noteworthy that the Japanese concept Ma for 'negative space' or 'interval,' 'gap' is expressed using the Chinese character (間) which is pronounced 'djin'. There is no mistaking that the word in Arabic for 'the unseen' or basically 'dark matter', 'things imperceptible with our human faculties' جِنَّ Jinn both sounds the same and has closely associated meanings as the Oriental variants.}

The manner of having designed the Sky as 7 (multiple) 'heavens' is suggested in 2:29 and the word 'sawa' is elaborated elsewhere (Smoke 41:11) as to how God 'corresponds' or 'levels' with the Sky. The terms 'squares', 'equalizes', 'normalizes', 'compounds,' 'patches,' 'flattens', and such, in addition to being mathematical operations, are also steps involving actual 'workmaship'. The understanding is that God literally 'fashions' or 'makes' the Sky that we perceive over our heads. The number 7 may be the actual count of how many eschelons of Sky there are, but idiomatically it means 'a multiple of things' or ' unspecified number' {I miss Capt. Bennett (& not with a weapon like You did me the other day) as much as Tommy (who can ever forget the fella who bought them their first pair of steel-toe workboots?) as much as gimpy U-Boat Al (technically not a Nazi, since he was underwater the whole time, who warned me time and again 'never let them see you cry,' or what Al-- huh, what?}.In 2:59 it is mentioned that from the Sky is revealed as well as sent or manifested God's Wrath on those who have incurred it, where 'wrath' is also understood to mean 'plague', and not necessarily always a disease, but any type of punishment that is in direct consequence to and the same kind as the transgressors' own 'debauchery' (there is no contradiction in the Sky being both a source of blessings and punishment, the understanding is that it provides a reciprocation, alluded to in how the Sky Echoes or Reverberates or provides the feedback for what People do on Earth).

Chapter 2, Verse 144, Word Number 6 is the 7th occurrence mentioning the Sky, turning the Prophet's Qibla direction 'to one that would please him'. The Qibla marks the direction of prayer, but also connotes 'kissing,' 'osculation,' that while alluding to things of an intimate nature also have to do with planar curves (discussion about curvature and osculating circles mentioned in the post 'If It Walks Like A Duck...'). {Is this where the phrase 'at six's and seven's' comes from? Does it mean being torn between making an emotional vs. cerebral decision? --other than that there is nice math symmetry in 2:144:6}.

And if You are into math, and symmetry, (2:164:3) al-samawati , (2:164:21) l-samāi, (2:164:39) l-samāi, offer all that in a neat package, including the 'mechanism' that is the Sky. Sign 2:164 offers not 1, or 2, but 3--count them 3, mentions of the Sky at word locations 3, 21, and 39 in the verse. At position 3, the Skies are mentioned as a Sign of God having Created them (Creates them); at position 21 Ma' comes from the Sky to Revive the Earth and is responsible for sustaining everything on it, including the streaming winds and the clouds that are 'harnassed' (الْمُسَخِّرِ musaghara) between the earth and the Sky (mentioned at position 39). The word for harnassed also has to do with 'gears' and we understand gears to trasmit motion from one body to another as in toothed gears, they serve to 'engage' an activity/equipment like when putting something into gear, and gears also transmit power and/or direction (like in a vehicle transmission)--a term closely related to equipment and machines.



Sign 3:5:11 marks the location of the word Sky as the 11th and last word in this Verse which reminds us that nothing can be kept secret/veiled/incognito/surreptitious from God, whether it be in Heaven or on Earth. At which point, I pause to Reflect, like any sentient being and ask myself, "Self," I said, "what vantage point affords such a global perspective of such a large scale object as the Universe when I, myself, am merely a spec on its surface, 'not even a drop of rain in an endless ocean'?"


For me, crazy me, I see 3:5 and wax poetic about the Fibonacci sequence, the 11th term for someone else to calculate; and The Golden Section, Phi, 1.618--the shorter is to the longer as the longer is to the whole 3:5 : : 5:8.



As a set, [3, 5, 11] are markers for 'squaring the circle'--given a square with side 11, and right triangle inscribed with one leg=3, and hypotenuse=5 (some believe inscribing such circles approximates the size of the Earth to the Moon). As a vector, well, just look up in the Sky... According to Verse 4:153 the People of prior Revelation (People of Scripture, People of the Book) asked Muhammedpbuh for a Book from the Sky, well, it seems they got one, has anyone bothered reading it?



Chapter 5, Al-Ma'ida, mentions the Disciples having asked Jesus for 'a table from Heaven' (earlier post at Table, Tablet, Fields and Grains ). That God Send it down to them so that it would be an ever recurring feast/celebration for the first and last of us (Signs 5:112 and 5:114, specifically).




Ma'ida مَآئِدَةً can mean table (board, bench) and can be used to mean a repast/supper. Given that they were all gainfully employed and not in want of food, the question remained, 'what exactly were they asking for when they asked that God Send/Reveal a Table from the Sky if they were not asking for supper?'



A table can mean all of the following (aramaic root): a schedule, a lead, a guidance, something of benefit, a jump-start, a fresh start/start anew/spring; the root 'med' means 'extend'.





With all that in mind, what the Disciples were asking of Jesus is to ask God to Provide an 'extension', or 'spread', something that would 'expand', 'reinforce', 'stretch', 'impact', 'increase'; an idiom for 'work at full power'; the verb form means: to 'provide', 'furnish', 'lengthen', 'distend', 'dilate', 'supply', 'protract', and finally to offer a 'respite'.






Any one of these 'table' connotations would make more sense in context since they would be more likely to be of benefit (especially if it would furnish something like an agenda for new concepts, a new beginning, a re-awakening) to those who follow (later generations) compared to simply consuming a meal.




And the request was that this 'tabular' Revelation be repeated and not just handed down once, so that later generations may benefit from it, and that it be a cause for celebration (Recall Abraham having asked God for the Message to be Verified/Renewed for later generations in 'A Wave of Oblivious People', so not exactly 'The Last Supper'--I predict more bad cooking on the horizon--either that or a live-in master chef).




The word for celebration is '3eid' the root derives from '3d' which has to do with counting, repetition. A cause for celebration/ festival/holiday is typically associated with happy occassions, frequented by large crowds of people, kept solemn, well-attended/famous; it is interesting that a colloquialism in some parts of England for attendants to such large happy gatherings are known as 'ants'//emmett=="holiday tourist".



Considering the passage about Solomon and what He over hears one Ant say to another in 27:18 when He and His forces approach the Valley of the Ants (Naml)--does that mean Solomon made it all the way to Cornwall, England, or were 'We' just messing with the English on this one? {Having read over that particular post, it may be worth defining what it means to be a Jew, or Jewish, since one was given for what it is to be a Christian; Jewish is a Job, not some sort of couture DNA or birthright, the job description being 'To Preserve Holy Scripture' (as in keep it sacrosanct, not just keep it to yourself or solely for your own benefit). According to that definition, I only know of 1 (apparently the job doesn't pay well), but I don't get out much and the real Jews are probably hiding like thrips for fear of what the Poser Jews might do to them if they find them (ahh, the quiet, protracted respite of missing mass.}



Ayeh 6:6 from Surah Al-An'am (Cattle) is fascinating in its description of the Sky for at least 2 reasons. The first is that nothing is being Sent/Revealed or made to come down from the Sky, but it is the Sky itself that is being Revealed/Sent , وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاء عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًا, wa arsalna al.Sama' 3liyhim mdraran, means 'and We Sent/Revealed the Sky to them/over them/generating a wheel/director/pouring out.' The second reason is the word mdraran, that can mean pouring, outpouring, has as a root 'mmdr' which means 'director' or 'something that goes around' or 'a wheel.'



Typically, Sign 6:6 is translated to mean an abundant shower of rain is coming from the Sky to make the rivers run, but if understood without injecting the word 'from,' which is not there to begin with, makes it clear that the Sky over our heads is itself some type of 'director', 'wheel', 'revolving' in order to make the Rivers run 'anhar' الأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمْ underneath them in a manner which exhausted them from their own sins and thereby caused later generations to replace them.





Clearly, these are not the types of Rivers we understand to flow for irregation and to go fish, so the implication is that these are Rivers of Time since 'inhar' can be taken to mean 'days' or 'mornings' flowing by, and 'under their feet' means that those being punished grew old/tired/exhausted by it (the Sky turning) without realizing it was a consequence to their own bad behaviour (thinking it nothing of value, right under their feet, beneath them). Or, in such a conspicuous/obvious manner 'they're tripping over it' and yet somehow remain oblivious to what's going on. (I think now they're saying I have a 'medical condition'--great!, who gave it to me?--because I certainly wasn't born this way! I never heard of a medical condition that makes my 'team' members go berserker over it and do a very convincing job of 'staging' (I have to believe it was just staged, no matter how believable) their own deaths just to free up the reins and go take care of 'business'--they're even calling me 'the cosa nostra'-- and all I think I Am is Where those that did this to me are Not--everytime I see one of them or even hear their names so much as mentioned I get ill beyond description.)




This is probably a better understanding of 6:6 especially since in 6:66 the indication is 'and yet, to all this your peoples have given the lie, although it is the Truth. Say : "I am not responsible for your conduct.' {These people who poisoned me and each others' children are 'my people' ? What is Your return policy?! What's it for Spaceships which You have commandeered (see, my not wanting anything to do with these peoples (Ikhlas), I was outbound when You ran interference)? This is a fitting place for a lecture on Mercy}.




The 'director' aspect of the Sky in Sign 6:6 is that it serves to guide/give direction, as evidenced by earlier civilizations' realiance on it (preserved in everything from pyramids to cave paintings), but for my single-minded pursuit I think it has to do with a Sky Movie.




Sign 6:35 Indeed their spurning you distresses you, yet if you could create/seek a tunnel in the ground/earth or a ladder to/in the sky and bring them a sign,- If it were God's Will, He could gather them all together to true guidance: so do not be as those who are childish (ignorant/impatient)!
(Lemmesee 2011-1996= 15 years by their estimation; considering actual time and not just from the time of discovery, 2011-1992= 19 years--still not patient enough for Ya?)


"فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَن تَبْتَغِيَ نَفَقًا فِي الأَرْضِ أَوْ سُلَّمًا فِي السَّمَاء " means "seeking to tunnel" through the earth or "ladder to/in the sky" in order to fetch a sign", where the term 'sillam' means "ladder" ==lean, slope, heirarchical arrangement based on rank/ability, also from 'climax' ; usually it is transportable and comprised of rungs/steps at increasingly higher/forward levels or eschelons, where echelon is lit. 'rungs of a ladder' or 'levels, subdivisions'; lit. from a Greek word for climax meaning a 'series of propositions rising in effectiveness' or 'escalating steps'.


A ladder is typically used to scale 'walls'==valus =wall, rampart, row or line of stakes as fortification, often used for defense; latin 'maceria' for "wall"; other roots for which relate to make/mason/machine/Freemason (see 2:22 above). A ladder can be used to breach a defensive barrier like when scaling a fortress wall, or when used horizontally, a ladder can be used to bridge gaps. And a ladder can be traversed up or down, and for the acrobats in the group, the same ways on the flip side.





Its been said that wormholes might be intergallactic gateways and that there are microscopic black holes that exist on Earth that lead to other dimensions (The Bermuda Triangle comes up in this respect every so often). According to Sign 6:6, we don't need to get so crazy as all that (just one crazy will do).





It can be argued, and very effectively so, that the Earth and Sky permeate each other, quantum mechanically speaking. In layman's terms the question "at what level does Sky start and Earth stop?" is a valid question. The Earth is more than bedrock and water, atmosphere and electromagnetic field or its Gravity--it extends into the Sky and the Sky penetrates the Earth in a similar fashion.




On a quantum mechanical level, there is nothing that says a negatively charged electron cannot ever pass through a positively charged nucleus, however fleetingly. So, even the electrons 'orbiting' a nucleus are in fact 'touching'. When we think about it, 'touching' is nothing more than the feedback our brains are wired to receive (perception) from the interplay of these electromagnetic particles, whether they are repelling, attracting, or otherwise entangled with each other.






Since electrons are all negatively charged and form the 'shell' of atoms, on the subatomic level, when our hands touch it is the surface 'electrons repulsion' that we interpret as 'contact'. But this barrier is illusory, since quantum mechanically speaking, these very same electrons can swap places, and permeate each other's nuclei--'an electron, is an electron, is an electron.'




The same can be said of the Earth and Sky--we really don't know or can't clearly define where one starts and the other begins (there are Sky particles that penetrate deeply into the Earth and as mentioned previously, the Earth extends out into the Sky). And that's why 6:6 is making an analogy of tunneling through the Earth or putting a ladder to the Sky--on some very basic level, it is essentially the same thing.




As for those transportable hierarchical arrangements that scale walls --the ladders; or passages that go under or around obstructions--the tunnels; they are typicallly implemented by the people walking around. We would never know it--encapsulated, self-aware, interdimensional travellers--God-Created Organic Time Machines--Interdimensional Beings (Angels, Jinn, Humans)--UFO ETs. (Am I boring You?).

Sign 6:99 sets off by establishing that it is at God's behest that Ma' (water/rain) comes down/is sent/revealed from the Sky and in turn produces every living thing.
Sign 6:99 is about as close as we can get to understanding how God brings about Something from Nothing, the concept of ma' for water is directly accessible, we understand how life depends on it. Taken to mean Ma' for 'negative space' or 'missing mass' then is what we understand to be 'no thing' from which, according to 6:99, springs forth everything (a resource to jump start, renew, everything--what the Disciples were praying for in 5:112 and 5:114, see above). {Maybe those Rainmen were onto something afterall}.








'And He it is who has caused waters to come down from the sky; and by
this means have We brought forth all living growth, verdure, close-growing
grain, the spathe of the palm tree, dates in thick clusters; and gardens of
vines, and the olive tree, and the pomegranate--all alike, yet so
different!'

Sign 6:125 describes in some detail how it feels to ascend Skyward... وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاء كَذَلِكَ يَجْعَلُ اللّهُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ ..'and whomever He allows to stray He makes his chest tight/narrow/constricted severely/critically as if he is ascending/rising into the sky...in this manner God works His outrage/manifests extreme moral degredation/squalor onto those who will not believe.


The narrowing/constriction/tightness one feels when the air gets thinner or the air pressure decreases at higher elevation describes the actual physical sensation of rising through the upper atmosphere, but is also an apt description of the discomfort one feels from the discontent/regret/problems that ensue from making bad choices (or asthma). These are the sensations one is made to feel when God Works or Makes Known His Displeasure toward any one of us, the word al.rijsa الرِّجْسَ means 'abomonations', severe moral depravity, disgrace, dislike, outrage, scandal, hatred, etc.


Those whose will is aligned with God's Will (aka the definition of Muslim) by contrast feel no such physical discomfort/limitation since it is said that God 'opens their breasts wide' (they willingly yield) to the acceptance of self-surrender to His Will. Simply stated, since they have a clear conscience they have no reason to feel uptight.



That the two cases are compared and contrasted in the same verse 6:125 indicates the following:








  • The Sky is 'built' in a manner to act as a physical barrier against those
    considered not aligned with God's Will in that they feel limited/constricted
    when attempting to ascend Skyward








  • Those meeting with God's Approval should be able to 'ascend' into the Sky
    (make the Ascension) without feeling a physical limitation/discomfort







  • There is no guarantee that some Big Bully won't get a hold of your Ride,
    keeping you from staying up in the Sky for any reasonable amount of Time





(He Says: "We Bulls Wobble But We Don't Fall Down!" I Say: "I seem to remember landing, not falling down." )


Which makes for the following story arc: The Sky is a 'Construct', Created by God, for the Sole Purpose of keeping the 'rifraff' out; in the same way a Wall acts as a defensive obstacle/barrier that requires a (portable) instrument of escalating steps/rungs/effective arguments to scale it, or, much like a tunnel functions to make a channel or passageway under or around such an obstruction.

The 19th Sign 8:32 wherein the Sky is mentioned is the guantlet thrown at the Prophet pbuh where the faithless say, ".. if this is the Truth from you make it Rain Stones from the Sky or show us that severe punishment."







'Just think what all that money$$ we've spent on 'not
getting anywhere but one way there' wars could have done to improve our own

Sign 7:40 Reiterates the fact that those who shun/reject Our Signs will not have access to Heaven (the gateways/passages/doors to heaven/the sky will not be open to them) until such a time as a Large Twisted Rope/or Camel can be made to pass through the Eye of the Needle (double entendre?).
Verse 7:96 meshes quite smoothly with the concepts about the Sky in Chapter 6. Simply stating that had the people accepted Our Signs and believed and 'reinforced' our Messages, "We would have opened for them Blessings from the Sky and Earth..." لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَاتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاء وَالأَرْضِ the word lafatahna can also mean 'make available' and not just simply 'open' like one would a door and 'barakatin' means 'blessings'.



In order for the explicit meaning of the word 'open' to make sense in conjunction with 'blessings' , the root of the word 'barakat' has to be scutinized.






Taking the root 'bara' gives the following connotations: noun (Arabic and Icelandic/Swedish): 1. floor 2. fold 3. layer 4. coat 5. ply 6. storey 7. story 8. flat 9. coating 10. deck 11. multiple 12. stair 13. pile 14. fall 15. lap; suffix: 1. -fold noun 1.fold 2. pleat 3. tuck 4. queue 5. destination 6. plait 7. plica 8. lappet 9. lap 10. wrap 11. recess 12. gather 13. flexure;

That the terms 'fold', 'layer', 'pleat', 'wrap', 'multiple', 'stair', 'story' are associated with the root of the word for 'blessings' is intriguing, in light of just such notions being the subject here at A Page In The Life including: 'Tay-al-Ard', space/time 'folds', the 'Multiverse,' wrapping and unwrapping curves, and the Mystical Math and Phunny Physics we find in the Quran.







The concepts alluded to in Sign 7:96 are all the more riveting considering that the root 'bara' also gives us: 'simply' , 'merely'.






Essentially, this indicates that transcending or traversing the physical barriers we perceive on Earth or in the Sky would have been fascilited for people and it would be akin to nothing more than 'climbing a stair or ladder,' or simply 'walking through a door,' to bridge the dimensions or distances; or merely be ’transported in telling a story,’ metaphorically speaking, is all that it would take for these barriers/obstacles to unfold like 'pleats' (umbrellas?).






But, because there is so much Injustice in the World, the only way those who seek the Final Solution from Their Lord, find it in the solace that those responsible for such Evil 'while they were alive' can never Ever be able to come anywhere near them or to harm them in any way ever again since these barriers have been so firmly set in the wrong-doers' own minds.




The rest of the commentary will be annotated as time permits, but there are some passages beyond the first 19 expounded on here that call for more detailed explanation, specifically those that include mentioning 'doors' along with the 'sky'. (i.e., 7:40:11; 7:96:11; 78:19:2 -- Only since You asked ...I've all but given up on the idea that You are ever going to make this right; I mean, I watched 'The Adjustment Bureau' last night and that scene when Damon walks through the office and everyone is frozen in spacetime because he arrived somewhere he didn't belong is how I shopped the groceries and ran errands all over town, for several days/weeks/months/years...but unlike Damon in that Movie I didn't need anybody to ask me to pretend like it never happened--like whatamI, Nuts?!)

The following comments added September 19, 2011:







There is an association between the Sky and Space; and Space (i.e., 'no thing/djin/Ma', dark matter/energy or missing mass) is conceptualized as a 'fabric' that 'warps' by the presence of matter (heavy objects). Signs that incorporate similes between the Sky and 'fabric' include, but are not limited to 51:7; 77:9, and 91:5 in the Table above.






Just to refresh, fabrics are often manufactured by weaving threads or 'knitting' together strings or yarn to make cloth. Weaving and knitting are two methods that in effect produce a 2-D cloth from a 1-Dimensional 'strings' (these techniques serve as accessible similitudes to going from a lower dimensional object to a higher dimension).






In weaving, threads are always straight, running parallel either lengthwise (warp threads) or crosswise (weft threads). By contrast, yarn follows a meandering path (a course), forming symmetric loops (also called bights) above and below the mean path of the yarn in knits (like unfolded orbits). The looping enables ‘stretching’ in different directions and can give knits as much as 5 times more elasticity than woven fabrics—a way to accommodate a greater range of motion (read as movement into Higher Dimensions, more directions) , whereas woven garments stretch mainly along one direction (the bias) and are not very elastic (unless more stretchable thread/yarn is used in the weaving).






Weaving involves drawing the weft (or woof) yarns/threads through the warp. The warp (longitudinal threads) are held in tension lengthwise on a frame/loom to facilitate the interweaving of the weft threads, and the word warp derives from something like 'that which is thrown across'. (There are very interesting connotations to the the word for warp in Arabic which include; anchor, 'that which drags the composition', 'slimy silt deposit?', stamen, web, color, deface, harm, assasinate, distort, twist, torture, falsify, skew, etc. One synonym that stands out in particular is سداة في النسيج which literally means 'in the texture', in that it is associated strongly with Tesla: according to The Online Etymology Dictionary: Texture derives from early 15c., "network, structure," from M.Fr., from L. textura "web, texture, structure," from stem of texere "to weave," from PIE base *tek- "to make" (cf. Skt. taksati "he fashions, constructs," taksan "carpenter;" Avestan taša "ax, hatchet," thwaxš- "be busy;" O.Pers. taxš- "be active;" Gk. tekton "carpenter," tekhne "art;" O.C.S. tesla "ax, hatchet;" Lith. tasau "to carve;" O.Ir. tal "cooper's ax;" O.H.G. dahs, Ger. Dachs "badger," lit. "builder;" Hittite taksh- "to join, unite, build"). Meaning "structural character" is recorded from 1650s. )






The weft, or 'that which is woven,' are the threads/yarns which transverse (go through/slanting/crosswise/oblique/sloping to) the warp. (Interesting connotations to the word weft from the Arabic include; wobble, wiggle, love, drawing, branch, sway, weave, etc. and a synonym in Arabic for weft نسيج actually means texture, affording another interesting synchronous parallel between 'weaving', 'space/fabric' , 'stepping up/down in dimensions,' 'constructing the sky,' and TESLA.)






Knitting is a weaving technique which involves 'knots' (math; closed circular braid, i.e., series of circles that cross over & under each other's strands, same centers, no backtracks & no extra loops; braids described by braid components and how the ends are joined (finished/link))






Curvature becomes a factor in that the elasticity inherent in knits allows them to follow the body's curvature closely (not surprising, since the knit & purl stitches look like unfolded conic curves); whereas, curvature is introduced into most woven garments only with special seams sewn in such as darts, flares, gussets and gores (wovens start with rectilinear weft/warp threads, so that in order to introduce curvature they must be cut and resewn; the seams join or bind the edges of the fabric with thread by sewing; another way to bind loose threads is by knotting, which is the method used in knitting).






While the same types of seams can also lend extra elasticity to knits, curvature can be introduced into knit fabrics without seams by using short rows , or increasing or decreasing the number of stitches.






The basic stiches used in knitting are the knit stitch and the purl (often denoted by k and p, respectively, when described in stitch patterns). The purl is the obverse of the knit stitch; when the fabric is turned over to the back side the purl looks like the knit stitch and the knit stitch when viewed from the back looks like a purl.






When the number of knit and purl stitches are not the same, (ie, k <>p), the fabric tends to curl. One example is in the 'stockinette stitch' where a row of knit stiches is followed by a row of purl stiches, producing a smooth fabric (read surface) that on the front (knit side) has columns (or wales) which look like a series of V's and when the fabric (surface) is turned over (obverse) the pattern looks like Dashes, the top and bottom edges tend to curl in toward the knit side of the fabric (or the front side, where the stiches holding rows together, produce a V pattern, are all on the front) , and the left/right sides tend to roll/curl in toward the back side of the fabric (where the yarn/thread holding side-by-side stitches together is all on the back side) .






When the knit and purl stitches are symmetric the fabric lies flat.

A sequence of stitches in which each stitch is suspended from the next is called a wale.
Casting on is the method used to secure the initial stitches of a knitted fabric, the method used to secure the final stitches in a wale is called binding off.






Wales of purl stitches tend to recede, and knit stitches tend to come forward. Purl wales flanked by knit wales (such as in ribbing/vertical lines) tend to be invisible, since the neighboring knit wales come forward. The dual case, is that rows of purl stitches form an embossed ridge relative to a row of knit stitches. This forms the basis of shadow knitting, in which the appearance of a knitted fabric changes when viewed from different directions. Knits are generally more bulky than woven fabrics since they tend to use heavier gauge yarns, finer gauge threads produce better drape. (I could say something about the shopping but wouldn't want to rub it in--I heard someone running out for more cash earlier this evening).

77: 9 And if/when the Sky 'furjit'
{The idea here in 77:9 is that should the sky effectively 'slope' away from the horizontal, the word 'furjet' means to gap or get 'spaced' like separated by an interval of 'time' or 'matter' } --am I understanding You right?--No More Editing? so add no more?




وَالسَّمَاء وَمَا بَنَاهَا 91:5






91:5 By the Sky and Ma (Whatsoever) 'bana.ha' (Built it)






Starting with the last Sign mentioned first, (91:5) clearly intimates that the nature of the Sky is such that it is 'constructed or built' ('bana'.ha (Built It)), derived from the word 'bana' that includes not only the meaning that it is 'built' (ar. v build, structure, construct, make, put up, erect, rear, mason--some very closely associations with the etymology for Tesla), but also from considering the similar sounding/meaning Hindi word 'baana' which refers to the weft, and derives from another Hindi word "bun na" or "bunai" which means 'making with threads or strings', as is done in primitive weaving techniques (wikipedia.org).






And the exact nature of the Sky/Space and its ''construction" is reinforced in Sign 51:7, in that the Sky/Heaven/Space is rife with الْحُبُكِ (al. hubuki), the most rudimentary root for which is حب 'hhub' gives us 'love', 'passion', 'seed', 'to lose one's heart', 'to like' and 'to attach'. And from the latter verb form derives the greater root حبك hubuk, meaning, 'your love', 'knitting', 'crochet', and 'to weave.' (Ooh, look! Yet another opportunity to be obtuse!--What are You getting at?-- That I Love Tesla? Or perhaps that I get to be Madame deFarge from a Tale of Two Cities?).






And since the Sky described in 51:7 is said to be rife or full of 'weaving' the understanding is that it is made up of or comprises 'interwoven paths', (the word 'tthata' gives us 'some thing' or 'some one', so if it is something woven, it would be a 'thread/string' or a 'path', or any other logical construct, and if it is a 'someone' it pretty much says I am sooo out of luck...).
